JJ is a product-obsessed technologist based outside Austin, TX, where he's been happily married for over a decade. He shares his home with three cats (Cheddar, Mac, and Tippy) who are fully convinced they're in charge, and they're not entirely wrong.

Before landing in design, JJ chased a career in music until reality and the absence of a steady paycheck rerouted him. Turns out, product and technology scratch the same itch: pattern recognition, craft, and the obsessive pursuit of making things better.

Outside of work, he's into good food, good drinks, and staying active. An ongoing war against entropy. He's also a chronic YouTube rabbit-holer, not for the algorithm but because his brain doesn't really have an off switch when it comes to learning.

His latest fascination is building with AI, and it's easily the strongest drug he's ever found. Equal parts creativity, curiosity, and pure momentum. For someone wired to learn and make, it's a pretty dangerous combination.
