JJ is a product-obsessed technologist based in the suburbs of Austin, TX, where he’s been happily married for over a decade. He shares his home with three spoiled cats—Cheddar, Mac, and Tippy—who are thoroughly convinced they run the place.

Before falling into his true calling in design, JJ pursued a career in music—until reality (and the lack of a steady paycheck) nudged him in a different direction. Now, he spends his time immersed in product and technology, always looking for ways to push the boundaries of great design.

Outside of work, he’s all about good food, great drinks, and staying active—constantly battling entropy. He also has a deep love for diving into YouTube rabbit holes, not just for entertainment, but to feed his obsession with learning. His latest fascination? Macroeconomics (nerd alert).
